Introduction to wheel throwing for two

Have you always wanted to create your own dinner set or learn the basics of wheel throwing, but aren’t sure if the four-part course is right for you? Or maybe you’re just curious to try this craft for the first time. Studio Timmerman offers a two-hour introduction to wheel throwing, perfect for getting a taste of this amazing handcraft.

In this session, you’ll learn the foundational steps of creating your own ceramics on the wheel, all in the comfort of my home studio. By the end of the lesson, you can choose your best piece, which I will trim and glaze for you. In 3 to 4 weeks, your handmade creation will be ready for pick-up.

Including materials like clay and glaze.
All work will be glazed with a clear or white glaze.

Studio Timmerman is a small ceramics studio in Rotterdam, located in the Spaanse Polder area in a shared creative building with other makers.

The studio is easy to reach from Rotterdam and nearby cities like Schiedam, Vlaardingen and Delft, with free parking available in the street and good public transport connections from the city.
