This unique piece consists of two parts: a pot that holds a layer of water and a lid for the butter. The water layer makes the butter bell airtight, extending the butter’s shelf life and keeping it fresh on the counter much longer than a regular butter dish. The best part? You’ll always have perfectly spreadable butter on hand. This is where the beautiful wooden knife comes into play!
This butter bell is another collaboration with De Houtkeuken, just like the Itsuki Jar was. Each component is handcrafted with care, showcasing the elegance of speckled white clay and the warmth of walnut.
The walnut knife is completely handmade from reclaimed wood, carved with pure craftsmanship and treated with a high-quality, food-safe oil.
With its thoughtful design, stunning aesthetic, and practical functionality, the butter bell is the perfect choice for those who value both form and function in their daily rituals.
Please note: the knife should never go in the dishwasher. Hand wash it gently to keep it at its best.
